Be a Force of Change in Education

When Meagan Comb (’07) began her career as a classroom teacher and reading specialist, she saw the negative impact of systemic dysfunction—from districts struggling to hire to a lack of high-quality instructional materials. Reshaping broken systems became Comb’s top priority, first as director of educator effectiveness at the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education and now at BU Wheelock, where she is executive director of the Wheelock Educational Policy Center (WEPC).
